KNITTING

Why do I knit so many socks? 

Knitting, as a process, gives me a feeling of warmth. It is like a kind of ritual. In winter time, when all the pain ting works is done, in the evening with a warm cup of tee and TV, I knit and relax. A peaceful end to the day. In the summer time, in the mornings, I sit in my chair in my blooming garden and start the day with knitting.

When painting, I mostly choose calm colors, in knitting I like bright colors. I guess, my true essence is somewhere in the middle:) 

Just like in my art, in knitting I also follow my own, independent, different path, the way I like it!

But why so many socks? Even in warm summers, my hands and feet are always cold. I have knitted and crocheted  short and long socks, thicker and thinner leg and pulse warmers. I wear them both at home and outside. And, it's work! My hands and legs are warm! I know that I am not the only one who has cold hands and feet, so in my shop you will also find my knits to be warm and cozy in any season.
